George’s Musical Project is an experiment of mine; a celebration of music and friendship. I know that sounds cheesy but there’s really no other way to put it. Over the last 13 years or so I’ve been playing music in numerous bands and meeting interesting people along the way. I wanted to bring all of those people back into my life and into my music, so this project was born.
Over the next few months I’ll be writing 15-20 songs and tracking them with a single acoustic guitar. I will be posting these scratch tracks on the songs page with some detailed information about them. You will be able to listen to the songs, view the key, download the song charts and see which contributor/musician is playing which instrument on each song.
Hopefully over the course of this project you will begin to see these rough song ideas transform themselves into completely different songs with the help of all my friends. Don’t forget to bookmark the blog or the RSS feed so you can keep up with all our videos and photography of the progress. There will also be a few guest appearances on the blog from a few of the contributors!

Oh and I also wanted to point out that I will be recording the original scratch tracks acoustically but that does not mean they will stay acoustic. Anything can happen, that’s the fun part!
