George's Musical Project!

I know it’s been a while, sorry about that! Over the weekend I recorded bass again for Song 1, didn’t like the first take so I re-recorded it. Now 100% of the music is completed and my wonderful friend, Jason Perez will be writing lyrics and singing on the track. Hopefully we’ll be able to get that together in the next two weeks and then move forward from there!

Song 1 is almost complete and ready for vocals! I tracked bass a week ago and Mark Uhl and I tracked guitars a few days ago. You can see a small clip of Mark recording guitar tracks above. Hopefully in a week or two we’ll have a small sample of the finished product and more footage of Song’s 2-6 so keep checking back!

I went into the studio tonight to write/record bass for Song 1 and I think it turned out quite well. You can watch the video above to get a sneak peek of the bass and Trey Rogers on drums! I wish I took more footage of Trey recording but I forgot, it won’t happen again!

Oh and I have added 3 new contributors to the contributors page! Things are really picking up. If you’d like to get your hands on some post cards to help promote this thing let me know and I’ll mail you some!

I have only placed 5 songs on the site so far but a lot of my friends have shown interest in them quickly. I have added 2 new contributor’s today; Jimmy Newton and Brandon Smith. So if you’re a friend of mine, please listen to the songs ASAP and get back with me so I can add you. It’s all first come first serve, so please bookmark the site or RSS feed so you can see when I add new song ideas!

I went into the studio tonight and recorded 1 full song and 2 song ideas! You can watch a small clip of Song 3 above until I get the the mp3’s up on the songs page! After working with song’s 4 and 5 for a while I figured it would be best if I finished writing them with a group of friends instead of myself. This is why they are only recorded as small ideas, hopefully they’ll turn into full songs soon!
